Medicare pays for Hospice at home. But, they will not be there 24/7. A Nurse will evaluate him and admit him to the service. The nurse will only come a few times a week. An aide may come everyday to bathe the person. Family will be trained for administering meds. He will be kept comfortable and nurse s/b on call 24/7. Someone will need to be there 24/7.
