Does Medicaid pay for a younger caretaker to take care of an elderly relative in the home (home care) with Alzheimer's disease in Maryland?

I am not familiar with Maryland Medicaid so I can't answer. You can got to the Department of Aging at Maryland.gov and find resources, though. Perhaps someone else here can answer for you.

Ask the caseworker about this. Much of it depends on how much help the elder person needs for feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting. Taking her shopping or keeping her company is not covered.
