Weekly? Why would you need to meet that often, as far as I'm concerned you would only need to meet to discuss any medication changes🤔

Are you being charged for this weekly service? Sounds like a scam.

Weekly sounds a bit excessive UNLESS new medications are being prescribed OR if there has been a change or a reaction to any of the medications that are being given.
But if there is a change and or a reaction you should also contact the doctor to inform them of any unusual effects.

Weekly?! I shouldn't think so. But regularly is a good idea. What are the actual issues?

As much as I trust my Pharmacist to bring things like interactions to my attention, I don't see where consulting him/her weekly helps.

What I would do is look up the medications online and see what they are for. Lets say there are two for anxiety. Do u need two? This is not determined by a pharmacist but by your doctor. The mls u take are determined by ur doctor.

My problems have risen from Hospital visits. Mom was on 86 mls (think it was mls) of B/P meds. Went to the hospital for pain and they doubled her B/P meds. Upon discharge I question the amount since she was not in pain anymore. Was told thats what the doctor ordered. Mom could not get off the couch. In home nurse came and found Moms B/P was so low she couldn't function. Mom at one point had Graves desease that upped her heart rate. So, she was given meds to lower it at the hospital. The meds for her graves brought her numbers back to normal but her doctor had not removed the meds for heart rate until I brought it to his attention.

So yes, periodically you should go over your meds with your doctor. Is this still needed? You should always be aware of what your taking and any side effects it may cause. But a weekly going over with your pharmacist is not needed.
