Our mother passed recently, she was homebound and had dementia. We have a used hospital bed and a mattress, a walker with wheels/seat, a standing pump lift, and a shower chair to donate. You would need to pick the items up. [all items are in excellent condition]
Location: Lima, Ohio (45801)
If interested please let me know.
Thank you so much

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. Thank you for your generosity and offering those items. Since this isn't a commerce website, it may be better to contact a charitable organization that's in Lima, or you can contact a non-profit nursing home to see if they'd like the items (except I don't think they can take the mattress) or you can go on to Nextdoor.com and let your local area know the items are available. This is a global website so you'll have more luck staying local. May you have peace in your hearts and healing in your spirits.

There is a Facebook garage sale site there is one for almost every community.
You can try your local Nurses lending closest.
You can contact your local Senior Center and they may know of someone that can use some of the items.
Almost no one will take a used mattress.
if you find no one that will take the bed if it can be placed by the curb when you place your garbage out there are metal scrappers that will pick up any metal to turn in for cash and recycle the metal.

Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, NextDoor app will find takers. The mattress will have to be discarded, though. Those don't get reused.
