Tomorrow, get out your Kaiser Card and give them a call. A Customer Service Representative will be able to look up your policy's benefits and help you. If you already have a Case Manager at Kaiser, they can transfer you to them, if needed.

Adding: If you are trapped in bed tonight, and it's an emergency and you don't have anyone to help you at your home, please call 911. You don't want to fall.

Seems like you need an aid, or to relocate to Assisted Living.

Contact your Medcal caseworker and see if you qualify for in-home aids.

Kaiser has wonderful social workers. Contact your doctor and let your doctor know your condition; request a social service consult through Kaiser for options on how to proceed to care.

You currently are communicating with a bunch of caregivers. We don't hire on as workers, hire, or fire. We are simply here to speak with people to help guide them to the right advice. Whether you can now manage care at home, or must go to a facility will depend on many factors that none of us can know, but that your MD and Social Workers in the Kaiser system can help you assess. Good luck.

We are not a care agency. Call your County Office of Aging or even your County Adult Protection agency. Both can help you find resourses.

Call your Medicaid caseworker and ask for an "in home" evaluation. They maybe able to help you with an aide. If your husband was a Vet, contact your County office to see if your entitled to help.
