No. A divorced spouse cannot receive veteran's benefits. That kind of disability is different than social security where an ex-spouse can collect if the couple was married more than ten years, but only if they aren't currently married to someone else at the time.

commissary and tricare are not VA benefits. For him to have them he would have had to retire from the military service. Or be a part of certain groups now allowed in, such a Purple Hearts.

ex-spouses aren’t eligible for VA benefits. Everything ends when the marriage ends.

You should contact a local Veterans Commission Office to find out what benefits you are entitled to and if you are in contact with your ex, and on good terms you might ask about the full benefits he is entitled to. Rules have changed recently and some that were not eligible for benefits now are.
