My father is disabled has one leg and fracture bones in back. He can't stand or walk on his own and can't get into bath or shower.

I am pushing this post back to the top of the que to see if anyone has any ideas.
When your Dad was in the hospital for care, what did the hospital due to help him use a shower or get a bath?

He is in a hospital, right? From there he will need skilled nursing care and later some PT rehab before he can go home.

Have his doctor script a bath aide who can do bed baths. Have doctor script an OT to come to the home to see if modifications can be made to bath/shower?
