Find Care & Housing
No. Depression is a totally separate illness. Someone in my family had depression long before they became a diabetic, and then later acquired hypertension. But someone could be mildly depressed and become more depressed after discovering they have diabetes or hypertension - but it's not the cause of them being depressed. Hope this helps!
