No they do not. They cost 30-40 dollars a month, and are a total waste of time unless the patient is willing to push the button and can remember how.

Hi KFelix,

We have a home health agency where I live that actually does provide the "life alert" pendants free of charge. They only have grant funds available for a few low income individuals to receive these. Might be worth checking around or just buying a cheap senior friendly cell phone like "jitterbug",
