If they can't move my husband. He is 93 and curses to himself. I'm cold. But when nurse comes in room. He says yes he's been cold all day. Then says. I'm alright I'll just pull a blanket up. Later when he is cursing and muddering when are they going to come put me to bed? I'm tired. I go to his side of room. And tell him you have to puss nurse button if you want them to put you to bed. He says I'm alright. They are coming back in soon.

Hadnuff, if you are staying there with him, you'll be dead in a week. Please go home and get some rest in your own bed.

When you visit, take your husband for a walk or wheelchair ride. And bring a pair of ear protectors for your husband to use when you're not there. I've done this before; actually I do this and put on the commercial grade ear protectors when I take my father to medical appointments that typically have soap operas on tv.

Hadnuff, if that is what your hubby's roommate is doing, be very thankful... that is mild in comparison to what I heard about other roommates.
