Stony brook adult day care would not keep my husband after just one day. Couldn't they try a bit longer?

We did all requirements for 2 months- all interviews, md visits, numerous paperwork, needed shots trial day and after one day he was let go! Cannot say how dissapointed and upset we were. He was always walking and talking not like most there. Couldn't they try a bit longer?

What happened? Why did they let him go?

They said they did not have enough staff to deal with him it was a Saturday. And that was the only day we could bring him. How they handled it was so abrupt . It has made me want to give up trying to get any help in the future.
