Find Care & Housing
Most everyone want to go home from a nursing home. The question is "can he"? He'll need someone to be there just about 24/7. If he can afford that kind of help then by all means get him home. This person has to be trained in the type of care he needs. Dressing him, changing his briefs, bathing, cooking his food, getting him in and out of wheelchair, etc. It's way too much for a member of the family to tackle. My heart goes out to you and him....:)

I totally agree with above. First find out exactly what he would need assistance with. Then determine if those services are available to you (do they exist and can you/he afford them). I'm a strong advocate for people being able to be in their own home (or one of their choosing) whenever possible. People tend to "heal better" when happy and at peace.
