God, I hate people sometimes. Get that damn 'sitter' out of their house! Call the police if you have to, make some waves, do something to let that person know they need to leave, and right now. Call another lawyer and get another opinion, there must be something that can be done. Is there anyway at all to set up a hidden video camera in the house without them knowing? If they're mean to your mom, if your dad's health is declining, get that mess on tape as proof! This is absolutely outrageous. With my temper, it would have come to a physical altercation with this sitter by now... I wouldn't have suffered this fool in the house another minute after all that. Find out what they're drugging your dad with and call the police and accuse that idiot of abuse...hell, accuse that person of attempted murder even if it's a lie. And what if it isn't? What if that person does give your dad an overdose to get money? They're already taking advantage, who knows what that person is capable of. I'd do it in a heartbeat. That should at least get him or her out of the house.

He will not change anything for us he has it in for us and giving everything to his brother. I am an only child and cant do anything till he passes, He has copd. after the will was signed the sitter told him he had to go to bed and now he is in a diaper and drugged.

Do your parents have dementia? Do you live near them? Please give us more information about your situation. Is this your dad's brother? If your dad and mom are of sound mind, they can change their wills and POAs. If they have dementia, then it's more difficult to get them changed. Why can't your mom hire a new sitter and get rid of the one causing the problems? Again, we need more of the back story to understand what is going on.
