Find Care & Housing
I’d love to know if that’s even allowed? Probably needs nurse assessment & have to be accepted & prepay ...I know with my mother, they don’t take patients who don’t walk or are combative..but maybe for $$$$ doesn’t hurt to ask around.

Around here, respite stays are used as a marketing opportunity. Several years ago, it was $1,000.00 a week. Not too bad especially if you need to get away. If she is on hospice, Medicare pays for a certain number of weeks each year. Maybe three? I don't remember.

Since this is a forum of members that live all over the US you probably need to research where you live. Prices vary according rpto where you live. Call around to Nursing homes and Assissted livings. There has to be a room available. NHs are going to be more than ALs.
