Have your mother endorse the check by signing it on the back - under the signature either you or her write "For deposit only" and there should be no problem putting it into your mothers account.

If you are trying to cash the check - as in getting the entire amount in cash then and there, without your mother being present- I think your going to find that nearly impossible- and for good reason. It protects your mothers money.

I second that. It is easy to deposit money into anyone's account.

By cash them, do you mean pay them in to her bank account? I should go to the bank and ask them - it shouldn't be a problem. Take some ID.
