Find Care & Housing
Try calling a non-profit social service organization in your community or your local Area Agency on Aging.

If that doesn't work, go to your state website. Type the name of your state and the word "aging" in your browser. You should see quite a few links. Look for caregiver support. Every state has a version of the National Family Caregiver Support Program though it may have a different name. These people can be very helpful when you have questions about resources in your community. While you're at it you may want to explore the other links on the page. Often, there's more support than we are aware of, but so much depends on the state where you live.
Good luck,
Carol

porchpickles, I live in Sterling and I also have been looking to see if there are any caregiver support group.... I think it would be great if there was one where we could exchange ideas and to be able to vent.

Let me know if you find one, and I will do the same for you.
