Medicare does not pay for any sort og long term care. If he has been hospitalized Medicare will pay for rehab for a month or two. If he does not have assets to self pay the only option is for him to apply for Medicaid which takes time. Otperhaps he has a long term health care policy. If he is a veteran there are some programs there for which he may qualify. Contact teh Agency on Aging in your area to identify sources for assistance.

Where does he luve now? Who is taking care of him? How long in the current living situation? Additional information would be helpful.
