No, you don’t have to purchase anything. This site is run as a public service by a for-profit company, which does offer paid-for services, but the question and answer service is provided and moderated for free. Click on your own ‘M’ avatar (not mine, which is also M for Margaret) and you will get a drop-down list. Click on Activity, and it will show you all your questions. Click on the question you asked, and you will find all the answers. It’s a very big and very helpful site, and yes it does take a while to find your way around it. He refuses to give me POA, and his bank accounts are in his name only. He's given large amounts of money to taxi drivers, not aware that he's doing it, $200 for a $11 taxi fare, and $105, ($100 bill plus $5 singles for similar taxi fare within a two weeks period. I'm told that since he is not willing to consent to POA, I should go to court for Guardianship. Any advice or suggestions on this situation? Don't know what to do. Alzheimer's & Dementia
