Last Echocardiogram didn’t show best results, Cardiologist has me on several meds. Is there anything that can be done to improve the ejection rate? I read CoQ10 as one thing that could help.

Destiny, you will find a good, balanced summary of the advantages and disadvantages of CoQ10 supplements on webmd-dot-com. In one sentence: it probably won't hurt, as long as you take it as recommended, but it probably won't do much.

In any case, do not ever take any food supplements, vitamins, herbal or homeopathic remedies or anything else without at least informing your cardiologist; and preferably not without his/her active agreement. Your px will be very finely judged and finely balanced. If you start altering your diet or your personal habits it could affect how everything else works - so it is vital that you disclose everything.

I'm not sure about improving your ejection rate specifically, but you should be given advice about how to live well with heart failure in general - covering the whole range from keeping active and mobile to eating well to the obvious like not smoking and not drinking alcohol to excess. You will find a lot of information on the American Heart Association's website under "Healthy Living" at www.heart.org.
