I got it into my head that hand rings came in pairs. I thought I had taken one from each set of rings and hid them somewhere. It wasn't until I was talking to my daughter that she made me realize hand rings don't come in pairs.
Well since wedding and engagement rings come in a pair or are worn in a pair, it's possible that's what you were thinking. I don't think that alone indicates dementia. If you see other signs, then maybe get checked out.
Also keep an eye out for a TIA or transient ischemic attack, or a mini-stroke that can cause a momentary "glitch" in your brain that resolves itself pretty quickly. Signs of a TIA are Face Drooping, Arm Weakness, or Speech Difficulty. Another way to tell is if you can smile without it being lopsided, you're OK. If you can raise your arms to the side, you're OK. If you can stick out your tongue, you're OK.
My friend? take the D word out. Does anything anyone of us individual creatures on he face of the planet seem normal? Define NORMAL. You don't just come down with dementia. It's not a common cold that goes away.
Thank you for your answers, if I were thirty I would laugh at my self at 93 you get concerned. I did find the lopsided smile amusing as my smile has always been that way. I never thought of a "little stroke".
