Does she have a medical diagnosis of dementia by her doctor? My aunt is 99-yrs old with mod/adv dementia. She's had it for about 10-ish years now but is still able to put food on a fork and feed herself when the food it put in front of her. Her coordination is slowly getting worse. Perhaps your wife has ALZ or some other cognitive issue that is affecting her coordination.

Do you have enough help with her in your home? If not, you can contact your local area's Agency on Aging for information and resources.
