Lil, here is a good article that I found on Aging Care that might be helpful. https://www.agingcare.com/articles/bad-behavior-by-elderly-parents-138673.htm

Here is an idea I have learned on this site. If you are caregiving someone, and they start in, especially during the late afternoon or early evening, that is called Sundowner's Syndrome, and it is doubtful if they can help it, whatever the diagnosis. Giving them a snack, taking them outside, medication at that time of day ( ask the doctor), can all help, especially is you observe the increasing anxiety in advance.
Is this maybe what is happening to aunty?

I need to ask, why are there so many people posting questions as of late that have no history, no location, no profile so that we can help them? Are they even caregivers? Should I be concerned? Someone mentioned on one post:
"Is this question real?"
I am not saying that this new question is that. It is just a coincidence that I have asked this now, because I too would need more information to help.

Yes, Pamstegma, walking away has helped me in so many ways. That is a tried and true technique for keeping the peace in my home! Thanks for that reminder!

Stay away from her. She can only abuse you if you let her. Break the cycle of nastiness by walking away.

More information on the entire situation would be helpful, including why you refer to yourself as "lilbitch". Is that how you see yourself? If so, that may be why your aunt is hostile to you.

But you really would get more targeted answers if you provided more information about your situation.
