Mother is 78 has stage 4 cancer and is currently undergoing chemo treatments. She has been fighting cancer for over 8 years. This last round is leaving her very week, can not do the daily care for her home and my father. My father is 84 and is crippled and is in constant pain, incontinent & a diabetic. He is under doctors care. He no longer can help around the house and is having difficulty maintaining his hygiene.

No such aid from government. It would be up to family to take care of this.

You can hire companies to come in and clean the house. Merry Maids, Molly Maids, etc.

Although now that I think about it if there's incontinence and hygiene issues a maid service may not be able to help you in which case, as the above poster said, it would be the family's responsibility.

Can you afford to pay for any home care services? There is homecare sevices in Ottawa that serves individuals who require assistance to live independently in the comfort of their own homes.
