I'm in CA and my mom had a heart transplant a little over a month ago and only receives $2,114 monthly. I am willing to move from CA to take care of her and be her caregiver. I have no income (self employed) that I will be earning in Texas because I'm licenced only for CA for my business. So I have no car no place to live to take care of mom after she gets out in a couple weeks!

Find Care & Housing
If your parent is on Medicaid in Texas, she may qualify for an in-home attendant to help her that is self-directed (that is, Mom can choose who she pays but she has to do tax reporting, etc.) You can start by talking with the hospital social worker or do some research by looking at the Texas website https://hhs.texas.gov/doing-business-hhs/provider-portals/long-term-care-providers/community-attendant-services-cas
NOTE: you will have to pay taxes on the money. She will have to qualify for Medicaid which means a lot of paperwork. It may not be full time hours and won't have benefits. Good Luck!
