I have a friend who needs to see a doctor on a weekly basis. She just lost her Medicaid because she makes too much and Medicare doesn't cover transportation. She doesn't drive and needs to find a way to the doctor that doesn't cost much. Should she sign up for a supplemental plan like Molina or is there another way to get back and forth? Thank you for your advice!

Contact the Senior Center in your area. Some have or are aware of volunteers that will drive people to doctor appointments.
You can also check with public transportation. Public transportation will many times have a program for seniors or the disabled where they will come and pick you up you do not have to go to a bus stop but you do need to call in advance for the service.
