All I can say is there must be medications to help with this. I see Charles Bonnet is caused by losing ur sight and the brain adjusts by causing hallucinations.

Just because someone who is visually impaired is having visual hallucinations it doesn't necessarily = charles bonnet syndrome, I think the paranoia, irrational thoughts and fears are more likely to be the result of brain changes related to dementia or some other neurological condition. There are medications that can help but it may be a trial and error process - does she have access to a gerontologist?
