Find Care & Housing
One place you can try is elder services in your town. Sometimes they have chairs, etc. available that you can use. Even if they don't have any, they are a good source of direction as to where to possibly get equipment you need. And you will need someone to install the support bars. They could possibly direct you to a someone who does handywork in the home. When my parents passed on, I donated equipment they had purchased to elder services as it was in excellent condition and someone else could use it. Good luck.

Support bars can be found in any kind of Lowe's or Home Depot. As for equipment if you're wanting to buy used I would suggest Craigslist. We got my dad a transfer wheelchair off of Craigslist and were pleased with it. Plus we didn't have to spend the money on buying new.
