Find Care & Housing
They can apply for the elderly care act, it’s through the federal government. Once all assets are depleted then you’ll qualify. That’s what we have here in MN, you should check it out.

Medicaid options are highly dependent on the state you are in. I am in Florida and hired an elder attorney who helped me figure it out. It is a little complicated but can be done, depending on the state.

Do you mean you are applying for Medicaid?
Good.
In many cases/in most cases Medicaid doesn't cover the cost of ALF or MC which are often quite expensive and privately run. It does cover most Nursing Homes. I hope you will find a good one. Call 1-800-Medicare as Medicare and Medicaid are run by the same governmental office. Reach out to your own state's Medicaid offices and ask for an advisor to help you apply. Begin to visit care facilities and remember to check Board and Cares also.

I wish you the best of luck.
