It should also be mentioned that.....they have to be willing to live in one of 16 counties here. Only 16 counties participate in the AL waiver. My county does not participate in the waiver. They also have have care needs equal to those on Medi-cal who are living in a nursing home.
so yes helpful information but it’s still not going to be easy if you don’t require enough care and you don’t live in a county that participates in the waiver.
