I keep trying to give a star and it won't and then it takes me to the end of the thread. And the type font in this "Add Your Comment" page is small and light. Don't they realize that most of us are over 40?? I'm gettin' frustrated already. :(
Oh, and AC? You know what would be nice? If the thread could just update itself whenever there's a new post so we don't have to keep going back to our inboxes. Or am I doing somethig wrong?
Austin, I think we could all write books about this crazy life. I just wanna get myself in a position where I can be a buffer between Caregivers and Social Services, doctors, pliticians, etc. I'm going for the title "Caregiver Advocate" I'll get us on Dr. Phil yet.
No Hugs, No stars, Can't type correctly, oh wait I hit return and it worked.
yep ok, that's fixed. And I miss the current topics on the right also, without them I'll probably never leave this thread. Oh wait, I think the stars are working.
Ok I'll give time. guess they just gotta work the bugs out. Ok, There are the current topics.
I am not sure I like this format and I want to give hugs. Ted you are going to be famous some and I will see you at book signings and give you a real hug-about that I want to be able to give hugs here like we used to do and what is up with the report shit if sone dumb person does not like what I say will it be delateOBMAJ we may have to express our feelings if this site has too much big brother I thought AC knew what a great site we had here -well time will tell as ling as we can still be there for each other that is what it is all about. We back to spring and will try to get some yard work done -I told the ladies at our senior center they could come to my house to get exercise instead of classes there-no offers,
no hugs for any of you ! lmao . feelin blah , bobbie- i saw ur new post earlier about telling stories about ur folks , i sure miss the old one , new is always confusing and takes a while to get used to it , jam gave me a hug , i dont know how she did it , i gave christina a hug i dont know how i did it either lol . oh what a day to be confuse , think i ll go take me a bath and ask galgon to take me to bobbie s boat . yes i ll have a drink with umbrella in it plz . too windy outside and the wind has a bite in it too . says high 50 here but sure dont feel like it . earlier i felt like i wanted to throw up . tummys not feelin right , then i got realy hot and sweatin then felt the chills u p in my back . im thinking wheres bobbie s boat at ? love you all and heres cyber hugssssss . xoxoxo
AND where are the FaceBook 'likes'? Not as fun to write on and way too much trouble to follow the thread with all of the clicks back and forth to get back to where you were. The title typeface is about the same that hulu.com is using to do a salute to 1996.... ok, done griping for now but really hope that AC will take this into consideration and reformat the thread pages the way they were. As wisdom teaches us, not everything 'new' is 'better'.
ok, I just posted and the site redirected me to the very beginning of the thread. Fail. I also tried to post again by hitting 'add your comment' and it didn't work so I had to click away from the thread and then back into it. also didn't work when I hit 'refresh'. In addition we cannot format our posts to be easier to read. Everything is run in a line. I like writing lovbob at the end, flush left. Overall I'll give the new change an ehhhhh. sorry AC, but you know you can fix it.....
I think that the home page is better but the post pages are by no means an improvement. No hugs is a fail as well as the missing 'current' topics on the right side of the screen. Running the text down the middle with ads on both sides is a better use of the screen real estate for AC financially. Just saying. lovbob

Morning.......just something light-hearted and warming.....hubby found a you-tube video and has been watching for several days. Someone in Decorah, Iowa, around a fish hatchery, has an eagle nest in their backyard. They mounted a camera and have been observing......first baby hatched last night.....there are 2 more I think.....daddy is on the nest right now....mom went to eat. Might be interesting for some of you......it gets me fascinated and I can't walk away.
Good Morning Crew, ssk, that was an inspiring story about your mom and everyone thought so and thought it would be a good idea to have a place on the site to post their stories. So it has been started with: Their Story: Those We Care For. ssk, if you feel like pasting your story into that new thread.... that would be the stuff and maybe more folks will share. Great Idea SSK!!!! love you guys and more later. lovbob
My Mother tried to "drink" the salt shaker once. Turned out she has hydrocephelaus (cerebreal spinal fluid not draining off the brain properly). But even with the treatment (shunt), she still does odd things every day.
He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say, 'Pick me up.'
He looked around and couldn't see anyone. He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again, 'Pick me up.'
He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog.
The man said, 'Are you talking to me?'
The frog said, 'Yes, I'm talking to you.' Pick me up, then kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen. I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!'
The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front pocket.
The frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said? I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.'
He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, 'Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.'
