Find Care & Housing
Then try your best for each day to be what you need it to be with her.... I am so sorry you are facing this... but having time is important..... try not to think about 'after', just focus on "now"...sending you hugs for strength these next few months.

I pushed the wrong button and my question posted. My mother's cardiologist just told me my mother had probably only a few months more. Even though she has had cancer and other health issues for 12 years, I just can't cope with the thought of not seeing her face every day. I'm not giving up on her - but she is really deteriorating. I've taken a leave of absence from work to help care for her in our home, which has been extremely difficult and stressful. Still - it's a big shock to hear.
