Today I had to deal with, well, we'll call it an 'intestinal issue' for Mom. It was a lot more than I bargained for and I am drained.

OMG, been there. It looked like the toilet thru up. We had a throw rug we had to throw out. I had to clean her bathroom before I could give her a bath. It took me 3 hours to clean up. I used a bowl of vinegar and it helped to absorb smells.

This is a position none of us ever envisioned when helping our parent. Don’t blame you for feeling drained, it’s exhausting physically and certainly emotionally
