After months and months of answering the same questions about who is dead and who is alive and so many others, I have decided to create an informational memory book for my mother, 95 who suffers from dementia. Using a view binder a picture of my mother and father will be on the front of this book. I will write simple sentences on each page and include information about her children, siblings, and grandchildren. At this point in her life she sometimes asks for her mother, dad, or stepmother. She can't remember that they have passed on. I believe the memory book will be something that I can place in her hands and will occupy her for hours at a time. Has anyone else done this and do you have any other suggestions. She is always wanting something to do but has short attention span.

I'm thinking of doing the same for my grandfather who is 96. He too is asking if his mom and dad are living, etc.
