I am hoping this information will reach caregivers in the Central NJ area in need of support or searching for available resources.

The Monroe Township Public Library in Monroe Township, NJ (Middlesex County) is hosting a series of three free lectures for caregivers in late July and early August. The lectures will be presented by Ms. Dale L. Ofei-Ayisi, LCSW of COPSA Geriatric Services - UMDNJ.

The lectures being offered are:

Balancing Work Life and Elder Care

Explore the impact of caregiving when employed.
Get advice on ways to reduce stress, obtain
support and effectively balance responsibilities.

Planning Ahead for Your Parents as They Age

Learn about issues that arise in the aging process.
Find out what topics to address with parents,
the signs that a parent may need help and an
overview of available resources.

Caring for the Caregiver

Learn to maintain your physical and emotional wellbeing
and maximize your ability to be an effective caregiver.
