If they were divorced, no (unless it can be proved that the divorce was a result of some form of abuse). If the she was married to the veteran and he passed away while still married, then yes.

There is a program called AID and Attendance through the VA. It is paid either to the spouse or if the spouse cant manage their own money, it will be paid to the caregiver.
