I do not have a primary physician. I have Mass Health Standard insurance and no one will except me for a required physical per DCF. I just received a registered letter from DCF telling me I must get a physical or they may take my grandchildren. My grandchildren have been with me for 8 months, one has already changed schools and I do not want them to go through any more changes in their routine. Please advise.

I think you can go to a clinic to receive a physical check. This is a state requirement, just to make sure you are well enough to take care of the children. Please take care of yourself. God bless you and the children

Tell the DCF Social Worker to set up a Physical for you at a Clinic that will either take your insurance or a Clinic they will pay for with Wrap Around Funding.
It would be far cheaper for them to pay 250$ for your physical than to place those children !!!

Contract Massachusetts Health Standard Insurance and explain your situation and ask them for advice and what is required by DCF [I assume it means Dept of Children & Families].
