What type of adult pull-ups should I consider for hubby with Alzheimer’s?

Supermarket & Chemist/Drug Store should have 'continence' underware aka pullups.

I remember an older relative was actually pleasantly surprised these were available on the shelf, just like feminine hygiene pads.

There are pads made for men to put towards the front of his underwear. It does reach in between the legs too. They are peel and stick like women’s pads, but shaped like a triangle . Tena is a brand . My husband needed them temporarily after prostate surgery . I bought them on Amazon . Type in “ Tena Men protective shield “. There are different levels of absorbency .

Also have him checked for a UTI , due to the strong smell and new onset of incontinence .

What caught my eye tough was your comment about the pungent odor of the urine. That can be caused by many things and should be checked out. And if you notice the color is anything other than pale yellow that should be checked as well. The darker the urine the more concentrated it is indicating possible dehydration and or kidney failure.

You will just try to purchase several brands. It is now time to get a waterproof sheet and extra washable bed pads. You will get ideas from many on this forum but look at size and absorbancy as trial anepd error. Mostly you will find that you get what you pay for. Consider toileting every couple of hours
