I wish I had like 4-8 hours to my self a week. Just to unwind, sleep, maybe meet up with friends

Call Council on Aging to have your dad’s needs assessed. He may qualify for care. There is usually a waiting list so call as soon as possible.

Or call an agency and hire a caregiver for you to have a break. If you are in need of a longer break. Some facilities offer temporary stays, so caregivers can go on a vacation.

Best wishes to you and your family.

Contact local churches and synagogues to see if they have affordable Adult Day Care programs; hire a companion aid to come in once a week to cover for you; research respite care in your area; Care.com.

I hope you can find a solution that works for you!
