Find Care & Housing
Talk to the executive about adding some healthier choices. I suspect others there would like it. Oatmeal, fruit, fresh salads and vegetables shouldn't break their bank. We moved into AL a few months ago and had to readjust our eating. I found that the usual things I liked were not prepared to my taste. We have a choice so I expanded my horizons and found myself eating differently, and probably healthier. If neither of theses are helpful, you may have to start some of your own food preparation or move. Then, discuss a change in your meal prices or planning a move with the executive. Also, I found that a lot of residents did not like the food here, with a little organization and complaining, they did get some dietary changes from the kitchen.
