Find Care & Housing
This is a great question. Where I live, most staffing agencies have a 4 hour minimum. I would like to start a "care circle" in my vicinity and once established arrange with a staffing agency to allow neighbors to share those 4 hours (e.g. 2 hours with one client, and 2 hours with another). Time will tell.

- Care.com

- contact social services for your county and see if you can get a in-home needs assessment to see if you qualify for any free services

- contact your local Area Agency on Aging for info and resources

- contact a local senior or community center

- join Nextdoor.com for community support from your actual neighbors

- browser search "in-home elder care agencies near [your zip code]"

This is an international forum. You have to call around in your area. Most caregivers request a minimum of 4 hours. They are trying to work full time plus no one wants to waste travel and gas money

Best of luck finding someone. This is a support forum.

You might try looking at nursing students. Students always need extra money.
