We had one from the 80s that my DH’s grandma used. We put it outside the house and made a Craig’s list ad saying free but needed 3 strong men to come get it.
it was gone in about 4 hours. I have no idea who picked it up.
Marty, try Interfaith Community Services, Catholic Charities, the Lutheran Church, etc. all of these services help the community with DME and lending closets for such.
I am in Tucson and I have experience with all of them.
