My 86 yr old dad has just few teeth in lower jaw. He is using denture but because of Parkinson's he struggles to use it due poor grip of hands.

Is it better to remove all the tooth in lower jaw so he can use denture better?
or is it not good idea to remove tooth ?

Any advice?

My mom's denturist told us that preserving some teeth was actually preferable to removing them all, the remaining teeth give the partial denture something secure to clip on to and without this lower dentures are much more likely to slip.

Lots of people with missing teeth manage fine with no denture or partial, do you think he really needs it?
