Home is Where the Heart Is has been a Godsend for my family. They made life easier with the flexibility they provided especially with scheduling. They allowed us to do only two hours or even split up the time so that Mom is covered in the morning and evenings. They also helped us out with grocery shopping and taking her to appointments which takes a lot of the stress of myself and husband. Another thing the company provided was keeping in touch with us daily and texting when needed allowing us to always be in the know. It's great to have a company that truly cares for my mom's well being as much as we do.

My mother needed some assistance living in her home alone. She was no longer comfortable driving her care, therefore, was unable to get out for weekly groceries and prescriptions. She loved a special ham and cookies at a local specialty food store, and also needed everyday items from Kroger. The caregivers from your company always took the time to visit both stores to get Mom just what she wanted and needed, then would put away all the groceries, and would do any dishes that were left in the sink. They came once a week and also did Mom's laundry if needed, as the washer and dryer were in the basement at the bottom of a steep old stairway. What a relief it was for Mom and I and other family members to be able to have these types of services provided, that did not require skilled nursing care, but definitely was care that enabled her to stay in her own home at that time. I'm very grateful that such a service as yours was there when we needed it so badly. Thank you Home is Where the Heart Is.

Home is Where the Heart Is provides caregivers who are compassionate and reliable. Mindy and Roger are amazing with their staff and have a great group of people. It can be overwhelming and a constant worry when caring for an aging parent with dementia long distance but they made sure my father was safe in his home.
