I'm aware many like Facebook as I do. IF you use FB, continue on; if not you can skip this post.

I saw in the latest AARP that there is, on Facebook, The Ethel Circle. You have to join. It says "A community of older women sharing ideas, concerns, and stories is already 30,0000 strong. Members are meeting up in cities across the country."

Anyone here have any experience of this group?

Joined it and can answer my own question. Many people on the Forum, some with questions, some chatting, some with advice. I enjoy it but I will only say that unless you have a ton of time on your hands you won't long be able to do Forum AND Ethel group. I think what the group would be best at, again, are specific questions such as steps to take in being a new widow/widower etc. Lots of folks sharing their pictures of children and grands if that's your thing. And of course easy enough to ignore, be on when you like, and so on.
Exceptionally easy to join. No one has questions for you; I suspect they just want to know you aren't a battybot.
