Carol Bradley Bursack, Apr 20, 2011

Over the span of two decades author, columnist and speaker Carol Bradley Bursack cared for a neighbor and six elderly family members. Because of this experience, Bradley Bursack created a portable support group, the book "Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories."

All great ideas. You also may want to contact the service clubs in your area. The Lions club, Altrusa and others do a lot of work in these areas.
I hope you find some way to do this.

If you are getting disability from the state, you should ask them. There seem to be a lot of agencies out there that help people with disabilities. Have you contacted the Sonus Institute and asked them? Ask your doctor, get a referral to an audiologist. Maybe Google, "I need a free hearing aid". It's amazing what you can find there. Good Luck.

VAL:
You might be able to get your hands on a list of organizations that give them out free of charge or at a very low cost. Good luck my friend.

VAL:

I had provided a link to the above-mentioned organizations, but the moderator(s) labeled it advertising and removed it. Search the Web under "free hearing aids."
