Yes I came across it when I was trying to figure out why my dad was completely out of it in the hospital. I came across sun downers syndrome and also something called Hospital Acquired Delirium which explained my dad's bizarre behavior while in the hospital for an infection. Actually we never knew what caused his cough and weakness but we assume it was an infection. His bizarre behavior and delirium scared me to death and I thought he was gone for good. I have never experienced anything so awful and I had never heard of old people getting delirious for unknown reasons while in the hospital.
