Carol Bradley Bursack, Jun 17, 2010

Over the span of two decades author, columnist and speaker Carol Bradley Bursack cared for a neighbor and six elderly family members. Because of this experience, Bradley Bursack created a portable support group, the book "Minding Our Elders: Caregivers Share Their Personal Stories."

Hire respite care for your loved one through an in-home agency. Try them out first so you feel comfortable. Some areas have assisted living where they take people for a short stay. Check around.
Good luck,
Carol

Hire respite and if you are going out of the country, have their attorney be given, temporary POA, until you get back. (in case something happens that needs immediate attention)
