...Read MoreHi again--I am not quite sure who the comment on the wall was directed to--however inasmuch as you are not sure with the ins and outs of the federal programs, i would go to a social worker-either at a local senior center, agency, or even thru the organization of AARP...They have all the information you would need to go thru the process, as it may get complicated.
This would probably be the way to go, and whatever happens do not become intimidated--it can be a learning experience.
