help! help! I am on disablity.. since 2004 with chronic fibromyalgia nad lower extremity neuropathy.I have been caring for my mom at the RN home since she broke her hip in 2005. she is also legally blind and has diabetes and now is suffering from primary age related dementia.My dad moved a mile down the street form me( he was In NC for 21 yrs) but realized he was getting too old and hoped I would help out. he has since had emergency pacemaker,collapsed lung, gout and chronic feet and leg swelling.My husband who is 20 yrs younger than me was suddenly diagnosed with a very rare cancer of the spinal cord( a tumor inside the cord) and has had 8 hr surgery. 5 weeks of radiation and seen specialist at john hopkins in MD .. all since March of last year. He is now doing ok and on an every 3 month MRI status as his tumor is considered aggresive. I am suddenly at the point of numbness.. anger.. depression... not caring.. feeling like no one appreciates anything I do and basically like crap. I have physical issues and all I do is care for the 3 of them.. and frankly I dont know right now if I have any recognition for it.. and feel guilty for saying that. ALso my husband is autistic.. suffers from aspbergers syndrome and so I really need to be his advocate in medical matters ans he really isnt able to communicate/I am desperalty seeking some where to help me as I feel very very low and hopeless.I have only one sibling, a brother who is 66 and lives in NC. His answer to everything is to be philosphical and zen( which is fine and dandy except he cant even visit my mom as he " cant handle it its too depressing) and lives 10 hrs away.. has lots of money and here my hubby and I are on charity care) ty
