Daughter helping father take care of mother in their own home. Trying to keep Mother in home with Father as long as possible. Father is 90 and in good health and Mom is 85. My husband and I are 65 and retired so that we can be right there whenever they need us, but really don't want them to live with us. They can afford to hire outside help, but Father wants to do everything himself. He's very independant.
I am caring for my mother, living at home and the primary ailment is alzheimer's / dementia.
